Shikkui Primer is a 2 part product that is mixed together prior to application with a high speed hand mixer.

Advanced Adhesion

A textured, all-natural primer that provides advanced adhesion for plasters and any other heavy architectural coatings. Is the ideal primer to use under Shikkui plaster coatings as it won't compromise Shikkui's air purifying benefits.

Humidity Regulating:

Made of a highly porous and absorbent mineral which allows it to effectively hold and release moisture.

Disinfects the Air:

As the porous surface of Shikkui absorbs bacteria, viruses, mold and other toxins, its high alkali properties naturally disinfect and create an inhospitable surface for viruses and bacteria to grow.

Absorbs VOCs, Odours & CO2:

Shikkui’s porous nature allow it to absorb VOC and odours while its photocatalytic capabilities actively breaks down VOCs into harmless compounds and neutralizes odours.

All-Natural:

Made from all-natural materials and in a combination that makes it non-toxic.

Durable:

As Shikkui Primer dries the slaked lime is turned into calcium carbonate through the process of carbonation, creating a durable and crack-resistant surface designed to last.

Application:

Apply a thin coat on entire surface, allow to dry before applying other product.

Mixing instructions:

2 part product: Mix Part A (5.6 kgs) with Part B (2 kgs) and add 6.4 L of water.

Mix with a high speed hand mixer.

Should yield 14 Liters (3.7 gallons) of primer.

Coverage:

Two coats covering ~140m2 (1500 sq feet).
