Shikkui Paint

Shikkui paint is an all-natural, biodegradable paint that actively helps improve indoor air quality by helping balance humidity, VOCs, odours and CO2 absorption, and helps disinfect the air of pollutants, bacteria, mould and other toxins.

It’s the ideal paint choice for homeowners, schools/daycares, hospitals, and other commercial buildings due to its high pH level and absorption capabilities. This helps prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses, while its anti-static surface which reduces the build up of dust & allergens.

Humidity Regulating:

Made of a highly porous and absorbent mineral which helps it hold and release moisture.

Disinfects the Air:

As the porous surface of Shikkui Paint helps absorb bacteria, viruses, and other toxins, its high alkali properties naturally helps disinfect and creates an inhospitable surface for viruses and bacteria to grow.

Help absorb VOCs, Odours & CO2:

Shikkui Paint’s porous nature allows it to help absorb VOCs, odours and CO2. Its photocatalytic capabilities actively breaks down VOCs into harmless compounds and neutralizes odours. While its CO2 absorption contributes to its carbonation, creating a durable surface.

All-Natural:

Made from all-natural materials and in a combination that makes it less toxic.

Application:

Can be applied onto walls using a medium hair paint roller.

After primer has completely dried, apply first coat of Shikkui Paint.

Once first coat is completely dried, apply second coat.

Mixing instructions:

With a mixing paddle, mix paint well for several minutes then allow to sit covered for 20-30 minutes before using. This helps eliminate air bubbles.

Coverage:

Coverage/Thickness: Up to 25 m² per 3.78 L (270 sq. ft./gallon), depending on surface. Do not dilute.
Final coat: approx. 0.3 mm after the application of the 2nd coat.
